Future Simple - Spanish Verbs

Generally the Future Simple is used to talk about future actions. For the reflexive verbs, the personal pronoun will preceed the verb in its conjugated form.

Regular Spanish Verbs

To conjugate the Futuro Simple of the Indicative Mood, you take the infinitive verb as found in the dictionary and add the appropriate personal endings. The regular verbs for the Futuro of the Indicative Mood are easy to conjugate and what's more, they all follow the same rule endings for all 3 groups (-ar, -er, -ir).

TIP: Most Spanish verbs fall under the -ar group.

Irregular Spanish Verbs

Most irregular verbs are conjugated in the same way but there will be changes in the stem of the verb.

Example: Spanish verb  "decir"

yo - diré

tú - dirás

él, ella, usted - dirá nosotros - diremos

vosotros - diréis

ellos, ellas, ustedes - dirán

As you can see in the above example, the endings all follow the same rules as in the regular verbs, the only change is in the stem of the verb.

Futuro Simple - Verbos Españoles

Generalmente usado para hablar de acciones futuras. Para los verbos reflexivos, los pronombres personales precederán al verbo en su forma conjugada.

Verbos Regulares

Para conjugar el Futuro Simple del Modo Indicativo, cogemos el verbo en infinitivo tal y como nos lo encontramos en el diccionario y le añadimos las terminaciones personales correspondientes. Los verbos regulares son fáciles de conjugar en el futuro del modo indicativo y lo que es más, todos utilizan las mismas terminaciones personales para los tres grupos de verbos (-ar, -er, -ir).

Nota: La mayoría de los verbos españoles pertenecen al grupo terminado en –ar.

Verbos Irregulares

La mayoría de los verbos irregulares se conjugan de la misma manera que los verbos regulares pero tendrán cambios en la raíz del verbo.

Ejemplo verbo Español "decir"

yo - diré

tú - dirás

él, ella, usted - dirá

nosotros - diremos

vosotros - diréis

ellos, ellas, ustedes - dirán

Como podemos ver en el ejemplo anterior, las terminaciones siguen todas las mismas reglas que los verbos regulares, los únicos cambios están en la raíz del verbo.
